Bing and Yandex submission through IndexNow
Google is not the only index that matters anymore. The Index Pilot pushes every new page to Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver through IndexNow, on the same automatic detection that drives your Google submissions.
The Bing index also powers ChatGPT search and DuckDuckGo, so fresh pages surface in AI answers too.
Upload a small text file to each site once, click Verify, and IndexNow submission switches on.
Every URL shows which engines received it, so Google and IndexNow status never blur together.
What IndexNow is and why it matters
IndexNow is an open protocol created by Microsoft Bing and Yandex that lets a site tell participating search engines the instant a URL is added or changed. One submission fans out to Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver at once, and the daily limits are far more generous than Google's.
The quiet reason this matters more every month: Bing's index powers more than Bing. ChatGPT search results and DuckDuckGo both draw on it, so a page that is fresh in Bing is a page that can show up in AI answers and privacy focused search, not just bing.com. If your customers ask ChatGPT for recommendations, this is the index that decides whether you exist.
How The Index Pilot handles it
- Same detection, second engine. The moment a new page is detected, it is queued for Google and for IndexNow together. There is no separate workflow to manage.
- One key file per account. IndexNow proves site ownership with a small text file at your domain root. You upload it once per site, click Verify, and submission switches on. No Search Console step is needed for this engine.
- Independent tracking. Every submission records which engines received it, so your dashboard shows Google and IndexNow status separately for each URL.
Google and IndexNow together
Google does not participate in IndexNow, which is why The Index Pilot runs both channels side by side: the official Google Indexing API for Google, and IndexNow for everyone else. Together they cover effectively every search surface your customers use. Submissions and results across both are summarized in the scheduled client reports, and pages that stall in Google are flagged by index monitoring with the reason.
