Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of The Index Pilot, the automatic search-engine indexing service at theindexpilot.com. By using the service, you agree to them.

What The Index Pilot does

The Index Pilot monitors the sitemaps of websites you connect and submits new or updated pages to search engines (Google's Indexing API and the IndexNow protocol) on your behalf. Submission is a request to the search engines. We cannot and do not guarantee that any page will be indexed or ranked; that decision always belongs to the search engines.

Your responsibilities

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. If a free-trial period is offered, you won't be charged until it ends.

Third-party services

The Index Pilot depends on APIs operated by third parties (including Google and Microsoft). We are not responsible for changes those providers make to their APIs, policies, or quotas, though we'll always do our best to adapt the service when they change.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Index Pilot's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the product before they take effect.
